Metadata
Metadata is located in the head tags towards the top of the HTML file. The metadata describe the style, scripts, and character set of the web page. It also includes the web browser title of the web page.
The title element
The title element is for denoting the title of the web page that is displayed in the browser tab for the web page.

The meta element
This defines the metadata of the web page. It is created by using HTML attributes. Attributes provide more information about a HTML element. Attributes are created in the name=”value” format.
<meta author="Daniel" description="This is my first HTML doc"/>
The meta element is also used to define the character set in the HTML doc. For example:
<meta charset="UTF-6"/>
