What I do

My job is all about communication. I write and edit the content we use to connect with our users in our emails, user interface, and other places. I spend a lot of time thinking about our technology from a user's perspecitve - how do we talk to our users? What do they want or need to hear from us at this point in their journey? Once I understand that, writing to them gets a lot easier.

What are the best parts of my job?

I get to be creative and write to a very cool audience - our users! So many people from all walks of life use and engage with our products, and I get to talk to them all. I'm always learning about how our technology works too, because you have to understand it before you can communicate it.

And the fact that I work with an amazing team of smart, creative folks is just a really big bonus.

How does my job make an impact?

Everything I do is meant to help our users get the most our of their technology. My whole job is about boiling complex ideas down into simple content that they can really understand and use to solve problems. If I do that well, our users walk away feeling like they've really accomplished something. I also help designers make our products better - because you can't have good design without great content.
